Spirit Icons :: Mai

I ended up making a pair of prints drawing the characters I imagined as the anime multiverse's spiritual icons. This one is of Nichijou's Mai-chan. I just love her. I ended up using a mix of my usual shading with somewhat cross-hatching... mainly because I drew her hands more detailed than I usually do. I used Paint Tool SAI to draw her then created the background in Photoshop CS5 Extended.
